Sound Session '07

July 15th – 21st.

The Providence Black Repertory Company and The City of Providence, David N. Cicilline, Mayor are pleased to announce New England’s premier genre-defying summer music festival, Providence SoundSession ’07. Providence Sound Session ’07 draws performers from all over the world to Providence, RI, for a weeklong, multi-stage celebration of music from July 15th through July 21st. Created to break down the barriers that often compartmentalize music styles and scenes, the festival features free outdoor concerts at Waterplace Park, intimate performances at The Providence Black Repertory Company’s Xxodus Café, and a Carnival-style parade that winds through the heart of historic downtown Providence before stopping in front of Black Rep, where a music-fueled block party will carry on through the wee hours.
